The FEP film is a versatile fluoropolymer film produced from FEP resin via melt extrusion. With chemical resistance, dielectric strength, non-stick properties, and UV transparency, it is widely used in 3D printing, pharmaceutical and medical packaging, composite molding, and pipeline lining.
Product Description:
FEP films are manufactured from fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) resin by melt extrusion, yielding a smooth-surfaced, high-performance film. They can be heat-sealed, welded, metallized, laminated, and vacuum-formed, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial, medical, and high-tech applications.
Available in thicknesses from 12.5 μm to 500 μm and widths up to 1600 mm, FEP films offer excellent reliability under long-term outdoor conditions, combined with chemical inertness, superior electrical insulation, and flexibility at low temperatures.
Key Features:
Chemical Resistance: Inert to strong acids (H₂SO₄, HNO₃), alkalis, and solvents (DMF, DMSO).
Thermal Performance: Long-term service at -240℃ to +205℃; melting point 260℃.
Flame Retardancy: UL94-V0 certified; Oxygen Index 95%.
Electrical Reliability: Dielectric strength up to 250 kV/mm (0.025 mm film); very low dielectric constant and loss.
Mechanical Properties: Excellent non-stick and low friction surface; high impact and tear resistance; maintains mechanical integrity at cryogenic temperatures.
Weather Resistance: Long-term outdoor durability; high UV and visible light transmittance.
